Interlink Cloud Advisors, a consulting firm specializing in premier Microsoft’s Cloud technologies, has announced that it will add 16 new jobs at its location in Deerfield Township within the Cincinnati region. The Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a Job Creation Tax Credit to support Interlink’s growth. This will enable the company to grow its headcount by 100 percent in the next three years.
Throughout the pandemic, Interlink has experienced 44% year-over-year growth as organizations require greater remote capabilities and support with Microsoft products. This includes better data security, enabling their users to be productive from anywhere and assistance navigating Microsoft’s licensing programs.
“The Interlink team is really our advantage in the marketplace. They are wicked smart and care about the success of our clients and each other,” said co-founder and Interlink president Matt Scherocman. “The savings from this tax credit will be 100% reinvested into our recruiting efforts to continue to find and develop the best talent possible. We think Ohio is a great market for our services while every company is remaking their products and services with a more digital foundation. Interlink feels like there is a strong talent pool in Ohio and wants to continue to grow here.”
Scherocman added, “The talent coming out of the colleges in Ohio is exceptional, we’ve had the tremendous success of interns transitioning into full-time employees.” Interlink’s culture continues to set them apart as a three-time finalist for the Cincinnati Business Courier Best Places to Work Award.
“Our goal is to have a work hard / play hard culture focused on teamwork and caring. Prior to the pandemic, we invested a lot into in-person social events to build camaraderie, and now we’ve had to get creative and pivot to more online activities. Our events still include cocktail-making courses, professional comedians, and sending goodie boxes in the mail including cookies, blankets, and high-end drinkware,” said Mike Wilson, Interlink’s Chief Technology Officer.
Interlink Cloud Advisors focuses 100% on Microsoft technologies, so they can be true experts in the space. With this partnership, Interlink has seen consistent growth as Microsoft continues to grow, especially with the increased demand for organizations to collaborate and be productive in a COVID-19 remote working world. Interlink has numerous collaboration offerings, change management roadmaps, and adoption training all of which assist customers to be productive from anywhere.
“Clients frequently have no idea of the power of the software they already own, and we love to show them,” said Scherocman. It is amazing to see how often they are buying third-party add-ins which are inferior to the ones they already own in Office 365.”
Part of what is driving Interlink’s growth is the common confusion around Microsoft licensing. Interlink’s Microsoft licensing expertise helps customers license appropriately, understand what they currently own, and optimize their licensing so that they aren’t wasting money. They are one of the top 20 U.S. partners for licensing sales – and one of the few partners who purchase directly from Microsoft which ensures optimal pricing. Interlink’s customer strategy focuses on providing mentorship and a trusted relationship, not just support. Interlink’s Licensing Health Check utilizes a proven methodology to help clients review current licensing and understand best practices for contracts, bundling, and finding the best licensing options and promotions.
“With as many as 70% of all employees working from home, there is a crucial need for tools that help businesses to not only stay up and running but improve productivity,” said Kimm Lauterbach, REDI Cincinnati president, and CEO. “Interlink is adding expert resources to help its clients by doubling its team in Deerfield Township. We’re thankful for our partnership with JobsOhio and the Ohio Development Services Agency that helped make it possible.”
Interlink has also seen a rapid increase in demand for security offerings. They help drive a modern security approach that protects organizations against bad actors – both internal and external. Many organizations have approached Interlink due to new and evolving security threats against critical systems and data. Interlink leverages powerful technologies combined with their expertise to help guide and educate clients to understand their specific security landscape and avoid overspending. Their methodology, called the Security Roadmap, helps customers assess where they are in the security journey and where they should go next.
