This will be rolled out starting in mid-January and be completed by early February.
Microsoft is rolling out a handful of new useful features between Microsoft Teams and Outlook. If you already have these for your organization you do not need to do anything extra, but you might want to consider user training and notifying your helpdesk and employees.
These new integrations between Teams and Outlook will enable users to seamlessly get information and move conversations to where they belong. Whether a customer request starts through an email and needs to be moved into a project team in Teams, or an announcement needs to be shared in a broader channel, your organization will now be equipped with the right tools.
Teams will now show missed activity emails and the latest missed messages in order to provide the ability to respond directly from Outlook to Teams. This allows efficient communication to help conversations that need your attention- even while you are going through your inbox.
If your organization currently does not take advantage of these great programs and would like to learn what it looks like to adopt for your organization, contact Interlink today! We want to start a discussion about your organization’s specific needs and what is best for you. If your organization currently uses Teams and Outlook, get ready for these great new features, and consider partnering with us to provide adoption training, education, and change management about these programs for your organization’s goals and users.
